A Story of Hope: Keanon & Kelvin’s Journey with Eden

Keanon and Kelvin, two bright and energetic young boys, faced an uncertain future when their family lost their home. Their mother had lost her job, and their father’s income was too little to cover rent. Struggling to survive, the family found themselves without shelter, relying on food donations from kind-hearted neighbors.

Eden first learned about their situation through a local community WhatsApp group requesting food support. After delivering meals to them several times and offering life coaching to their parents, we realized the family needed more than just food—they needed stability and hope.

To ease the burden and create a safe, nurturing environment for the boys, Eden welcomed Keanon and Kelvin into our home. Here, they found more than just shelter—they found a family. They could play freely, focus on their education, and no longer worry about where their next meal would come from. Eden provided them with a full year’s worth of school stationery, uniforms, and daily transport to school.

At the same time, we worked closely with their parents, offering guidance and support to help them rebuild their lives. With Eden’s help, they found safe temporary shelter, allowing them to regain stability. Despite the challenges, the family remained close—Keanon and Kelvin spent their weekdays with us but returned to their parents every weekend, strengthening their bond while ensuring their well-being.

Today, thanks to Eden’s intervention, their parents are on the path to recovery, actively working towards financial independence. Keanon and Kelvin continue to thrive, knowing they have a community that cares for them and a future filled with possibility.
